Property Information
Located in the residential area of Tzamaraleta and within a few kilometres from the famous Fiskardo, this property stands on 2,630sq metres surrounded by untamed countryside and scattered residential houses. The area is very quiet with the rare car passing by.
The heritage house with its outbuilding stands on the property and is in need of restoration. It has very strong thick walls in which the ‘famous Fiskardo mortar was used. Built in the beginning of the 20th century the housewalls' stand proudly erect with very little damage apart from its roof tiles. Surrounding the house and its terraced 'garden' is the original dry-field-stacked-stone wall. The property is within the building zone and a second house/villa can be built on it.
The owners had originally planned to build an A-class boutique hotel restoring the old house and its outbuilding (disabled amenity cottage) with a pool and build a second villa with a pool on the same property.

Original Wine Press
A government grant and all the necessary environmental, heritage home with pool decisions were obtained and the final stage of acquiring the building licence was reached only to be disappointed by an unscrupulous architect who had absconded with the money given for the licence!
Why mention the above, because anyone wanting to restore the house either for private or for commercial use would have to go through these different stages and the decisions on hand will ease / and quicken the time needed to obtain these.
